Wyrnbrook
The walled trade city a few days from Elmwick, all guilds, bridges and old customs.
A walled city of stone bridges, guild banners, and old customs, Wyrnbrook stands as the major trade hub of the region—where the wild edges of the world feed their riches into cobbled streets and merchant halls. Located a few days’ travel from the frontier village of Elmwick, it is a place of structure, commerce, and influence, rooted in a 1250s medieval-style society with a grounded but present sense of magic.
Wyrnbrook is home to both a respected court mage and a prominent high priest, lending magical and spiritual weight to its otherwise pragmatic character. Its market is famous for goods from across the region: fine dwarven steel and bitter ale from Earthskull, and sweetleaf tobacco and honeymead from Thistlebarrow Shire.
While Wyrnbrook is civilized and orderly, it remains a crossroads—where rumors from the frontier reach guild ears, where adventurers pass through with relics and curses, and where distant politics sometimes stir behind stone walls and stained-glass windows.
